As the Elementary Principal, I am honored and excited to join the Anderson-Shiro ISD family. I am proud to call Anderson home! I grew up here attending school on this very campus! After high school, I headed to Texas A&M University, graduating in 1998...WHOOP! I continued there and received a Master's degree in Education Administration.

I am in my 22nd year of education. My career began in Magnolia ISD, where I served as an elementary teacher, district elementary curriculum specialist, assistant principal, and elementary principal. Three years ago, I joined Region 6 Education Service Center as the Leadership, Learning & Accountability Director, helping districts across the region. I am incredibly excited to get back with students at AES.

I'm proud to say that I attended ASCISD from K-12. I've made so many great memories in our community. My husband Jason and I live in Anderson with our four children. Colton graduated from ASCISD and just finished his studies at TSTC in Waco. Hope and Hudson are in 6th grade, and Claire Bear is in Kindergarten.

I'm honored to be back home, a place I will forever cherish, and I pray our students will truly feel what it means to be an Anderson-Shiro OWL!
