📢 Ascender Parent Portal Notification Update:
 
This is a quick reminder about an important change affecting how Ascender Parent Portal can send parent alerts.
Major mobile carriers (like AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon) have discontinued support for email-to-text messaging — the system some parents used to receive alerts by text. Because of this, any notifications sent that way will no longer be delivered.
 
👉 What you need to do:
If your alert method in ParentPortal is currently set to Text, please change it to Email so you can continue receiving important updates from your child’s campus.
This change is due to carrier updates, not changes within ASCENDER or ParentPortal. Thank you for taking time to check your settings! If you have any questions, please contact your campus office.
